Green Burial in Ohio

Approximately ten years ago the Wilderness Center acquired 43 acres of farmland near Wilmont, Ohio. Now called Foxfield Preserve, the land has been undergoing ecological restoration and offers natural burials. Foxfield Preserve "provides an economical, environmentally friendly alternative to modern burial as fewer resources are used in natural burial."
